Cancer Researcher Denied Entry

Boston

From WaPo: An Iranian cancer researcher flew to the U.S. in order to begin work at Boston Children’s Hospital on a J1 visa. He and his family were detained at Logan International Airport for 24 hours (!), denied entry, and then returned to Iran.

According to the feds, this wasn’t a travel ban issue. Rather, “information discovered during the CBP inspection” rendered the doctor inadmissible.
