Arizona GOP Candidate for Senate: Building the Wall

Earlier this week, Arizona Senator Jeff Flake announced that he would not run for re-election.  Flake had been open to immigration reform.  The GOP heir apparent for Flake’s seat is a Trump hard-liner on immigration.   Here is what she has to say on immigration:

Dr. Kelli Ward, candidate for U.S. Senate in Arizona, released a new digital ad today showing her strong commitment to increasing security along America’s southern border. Dr. Ward is confident that with the proper resources, manpower, technology and deterrents, America will be able to better safeguard and protect its borders.

“We can never be secure as a nation as long as we have wide open borders and a dysfunctional immigration system,” said Ward. “I am very pleased with the steps the current administration has taken at the border to protect our nation. As senator, I will do everything in my power to assist the effort to secure our border, support our border patrol agents and stem the flow of illegal immigration. These priorities are critically important to our national security and to ensuring the safety and security of the American people.”
