An Immigration Vote in January?

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has said that IF lawmakers reach a deal on immigration, there will be a vote on the issue in January. Yeah, that’s a big if.
As Politico and CNN report, Senator Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.) and Senate Minority Whip Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) are part of a bipartisan group that is working with the White House to craft an immigration bill that would address, among other things, the future of DACA. At the moment, the senators are waiting on a list of immigration priorities from the White House that’s due to arrive at the end of this week. I’m sure it’ll be reasonable.
