Lets go back to a time before the colorful images of flappers, gangsters, jazz, and bootlegging which framed the roaring 20’s to a less colorful time when The Women’s Christian Temperance Union brought about the Volstead Act, an amendment of the constitution which banned alcoholic or intoxicating beverages from 1920 to 1933.
