Canadian Tech Companies Benefit from Trump’s “America First” Approach to Immigration
Gene Marks of the Washington Post reports that, while many U.S. tech companies oppose the Trump administration’s tightening of immigration policies and fear that these policies will cost them valuable talent, tech companies in Canada are benefiting.
According to a report in the Toronto Star, technology companies in the Toronto region have seeen a spike in job applicants from abroad, thanks, in part, to stricter immigration rules in the United States and other countries.
