Crossing Italian Alps To Seek Asylum in France

People around the world brave journeys across borders of all sorts in order to seek a better life. We’re familiar with migrants crossing the deserts of the U.S./Mexico border. We watch asylum seekers cross the Mediterranean in rickety boats. But did you know migrants also cross the Italian alps in the depths of winter, hoping to seek asylum in France? CBS’ Seth Doane took the journey with a group a migrants.
