Former White House Chief of Staff joins board of company that operates immigration detention shelters
CNN reports that that former White House chief of staff and retired Marine Gen. John Kelly has joined the board of directors for Caliburn International, the parent company of Comprehensive Health Services, which operates shelters for unaccompanied migrant children. Kelly served as President Trump’s chief of staff until the end of last year.
Kelly’s ties to the administration’s policy of separating migrant parents and children date to when he served as secretary of the Department of Homeland Security.
John Kelly oversaw many of the Trump Admin’s most morally repugnant immigration policies. Now he could be making big bucks serving on the Board of a company that’s profiting from the same cruel plans he put in place. This is corruption at its absolute worst. https://t.co/1rgpSew8gR
