New Podcast: Immigration and Democracy
Have time for another podcast? Here is one that is sure to interest ImmigrationProf readers. ‘m excited to share with you our new podcast. Immigration & Democracy is a new podcast series from the Immigration Initiative at Harvard. In the first episode, William Lopez. Nicole Novak, the ACLU, and Brooklyn Defender talk about the impacts of immigration raids.
The podcast was launched with an accompanying research brief entitled “An Unnatural Disaster: The Impact of Immigration Raids on Latino Communities.”
A new podcast will be available every Wednesday. Next week, Karla Cornejo Villavicencio and Marcelo Hernandez-Castillo will discuss their new books, The Undocumented Americans (Penguin Random House) and Children of the Land (Harper).
