Senator Charles Schumer will speak on immigration to Democratic Convention — with Statue of Liberty as backdrop

The 2020 Democratic National Convention started yesterday, with Senator Bernie Sanders and Michelle Obama closing the show on the first day.

On Day 2, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer has said that he will speak on immigration in his speech at the Convention — and the Statue of Liberty will serve as the backdrop. The Senator told the New York Daily News that he will emphasize the importance of giving undocumented immigrants a chance to build permanent lives in the United States.
