In August, immprof Stella Burch Elias (Iowa) and I published an essay as part of the Yale Journal on Regulation Blog’s online symposium on racism in administrative law — Hire American: Race-Based Exclusion in Employment-Based Immigration.

On Thursday, Stella and I spoke about this piece as part of the Iowa Innovation, Business & Law Center’s Fall 2020 series focused on Examining Institutional Structures: Race, Business & the Law.

It was loads of fun to talk about immigration law with business folks who aren’t as in the weeds on immigration issues.
