House Judiciary Committee on Discrimination and Violence Against Asian Americans

As KJ and others have noted on ImmigrationProf blog, anti-Asian and anti-immigrant sentiments has escalated during COVID-19 and now includes a hateful killing of 6 Asian American women in Atlanta.

The House Judiciary Committee’s Subcommittee on Constitution, Civil Rights, and Civil Liberties is holding a hearing NOW (started at 8AM MT) on anti-Asian hate. You can watch the hearing here. The witness list is here and includes immigration professors Hiroshi Motomura and Erika Lee.
