Killing of 8, including 6 Asians, in Atlanta

Eight people were shot to death at three massage parlors in the Atlanta area, as reported by Richard Fausset and Neil Vigdor of The New York Times.  According to law enforcement officials, six of the eight victims were Asian, raising concerns about the motives for the killings. 

Stop AAPI Hate, a group formed to prevent anti-Asian discrimination during the coronavirus pandemic, has counted nearly 3,800 reports of hate incidents targeting Asian Americans nationwide since March 2020, the onset of the pandemic in the United States.
