Glaswegian Crowd Rallies To Release Migrants Caught in Raid on Eid

Two Indian nationals, both living without permission in the UK for some 10 years each, were arrested by government authorities during Eid. When their Glaswegian neighbors heard the news, they took the streets to block the van carrying the men away. More than 200 people joined the protest, which lasted some 7+ hours, chanting “These are our neighbors! Let them go!”

Shockingly, the government let them go. The men were released directly from the van carrying them into the waiting arms of the crowd.
