Supreme Court Vacates Eighth Circuit TPS Green Card Ruling
In “High Court Vacates 8th Circ. TPS Green Card Ruling,” Mick LaSusa for Law 360 reports that the U.S. Supreme Court yesterday vacated a split Eighth Circuit decision contrary to the Supreme Court’s holding in June that temporary protected status (TPS) recipients could not adjust their status to lawful permanent residents. Four TPS holders who sued the Trump administration for denying their applications for adjustment of status had their case sent back to the Eighth Circuit for further proceedings in light of the Court’s June 2021 ruling in Sanchez v. Mayorkas. See
