Immigration an Issue in French Presidential Election

As has been posted on the ImmigrationProf blog, immigration remains a big policy issue in Europe.  

Immigration is a hot campaign issue in the upcoming French presidential election.  In winning the election in 2017, Emmanuel Macron sought to calm extremism.  Macron has not stemmed the rise of the far-right in France. Now, Marine Le Pen’s far-right National Rally party has surged.
