Peter S. Margulies on the U.S. Supreme Court’s Decision in Biden v. Texas

This term brought a number of very important immigration decisions to the Supreme Court.

One of them was Biden v. Texas, which as we reported previously on the blog, has cleared the way for the Biden administration to end the controversial Migrant Protection Protocols (MPP), commonly known as Remain in Mexico. 

Professor Peter S. Margulies has posted on LawFare Blog an excellent analysis of the Court’s decision in the case, which is available here.

In it, he warns that termination “is not a done deal,” and shares important insights on the next steps in the litigation, which could even bring the case back to the Court in the near future.
