Chicago Welcomes Migrants from Texas

Governor Abbott of Texas has for some time now been grabbing headlines by bussing migrants from the border to Democratic-led cities around the country. This week, he sent three busloads of immigrants to Chicago, where they were welcomed by city officials.

As Chicago’s Mayor Lori Lightfoot told the press: “We will continue to live out our values as a welcoming city and respond accordingly.”
