U.S. Customs and Border Protection to Step Down or Be Fired?

Immigration news — or at least rumors — from Washington D.C.  The commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection reportedly is being forced out of his job.

Chris Magnus is resisting leaving the position, after Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas reportedly asked Magnus to resign or be fired. It comes after the number of migrants at the U.S./Mexico border have been in the news.

The former Tuscon, Arizona police chief, Magnus reportedly has clashed with Department of Homeland Security officials over border enforcement policy.
