Refugees Adrift in Andaman Sea for Weeks

The Washington Post reports this morning that some 150 Rohingya refugees have been adrift in the Andaman Sea for more than two weeks. The Andaman Sea, as shown in the diagram (right) is located in the Northeast Indian Ocean.

Relatives of the refugees say the individuals have neither food nor water. And haven’t for days.

Neighboring countries are aware of the boat and the humans aboard. So far, none have helped.
