“Biden’s border crisis: Our immigration courts have a 2,023,441 case backlog and it’s more than we can handle”

Nolan Rappaport for Fox News bemoans the backlog of more than two million cases in the immigration courts.  The hard question is how, consistent with due process and fundamental fairness, the nation reduces the backlog.  There are no quick fixes here.  One possible approach is executive reform of the immigration court system, which the American Immigration Lawyers Association has advocated.
