A Post-Title 42 US/Mexico Border

It is a big week in immigration.  The Biden administration is lifting the Title 42 order and scrambling to establish the narrative that the border is under control — an especially important claim as the 2024 election cycle nears.  Lots of people (here, here, here, and here) are asking what a post-Title 42 border will look like.
