World Bank’s 2023 World Development Report

Rural Migration News hits the highlights of the World Bank’s 2023 World Development Report, which estimated that almost 300 million people were international migrants in 2023, including 260 million or 85 percent who were in the labor force of their host country. The foreign-born share of residents in high-income countries almost tripled from five percent in 1960 to 15 percent in 2020.
