LA Times: Canada Recruiting Immigrants for Tech Positions

The LA Times is reporting on Canada’s increasing friendly immigration policy for skilled workers. Most recently, Canada “offered a three-year work permit to anyone holding a U.S. H-1B visa, the most common entry permit for immigrants working in the tech sector.”

In the first two days, the program attracted 10,000 applicants!

The article features a tech worker from India who applied for and received a visa in only four weeks.
