Scathing Letter Reveals Tension Among New York Democrats Over Migrant Crisis

New York City Mayor Eric Adams has taken some controversial steps in the city’s response to migrants and at times has  appeared less than generous in his public statements and the city’s responses.  Dana Rubinstein, Nicholas Fandos and Luis Ferré-Sadurní for the New York Times reports on the divide that has developed among New York Democrats on immigration.   In a letter, a lawyer representing Governor Kathy Hochul faulted Mayor Eric Adams’s management of New York’s migrant crisis in “sharp terms.”
