5th Cir. Stays TX District Court Order re: Buoy Removal
On Wednesday, U.S. District Judge David Alan Ezra issued a preliminary injunction in favor of the United States in its litigation against Texas over the state’s border buoys. Yesterday, the Fifth Circuit stayed that decision, pending appeal. Texas will not need to immediately remove the buoys (is there even a harder word to spell right?) it placed in the Rio Grande along the U.S. border with Mexico.
