Stay in Texas Policy? Biden administration reportedly working on plan to keep asylum seekers in Texas

Cory Smith reports that  the Biden administration is reportedly weighing a stay-in-Texas rule as a means of deterring would-be asylum seekers and making it easier to remove migrants who fail in their asylum claims.

Not surprisingly, Texas Governor Greg Abbott, who has implemented many immigration enforcement policies and shipped migrants North, is not a fan of keeping asylum seekers in Texas.
