WSJ: The New Border Immigration Problem
I‘m fascinated by the “Future View” segment from the Wall Street Journal entitled The New Border Immigration Problem. It’s the sub-heading that’s grabbed me: “Students discuss the migrant crisis and maintaining America’s sovereignty.”
I’ll admit it, I’m not a regular WSJ reader. And it’s clear “Future View” is an ongoing segment where the paper asks students to submit responses to the newspaper’s prompt. It’s a pretty cool idea.
The voices highlighted in this particular Future View on immigration are reasonably geographically and subject-matter diverse: Isaak Abud, Fordham University, finance; Zev van Zanten, Duke University, mathematics and economics; Naida Softic, Loyola University Chicago, political science (Ph.D.); Hunter Frenze, Quinnipiac University School of Law; Eric Oelhaf, Pennsylvania State, political science.
Worth a gander to see how youths of today are thinking.
