The Independent (UK) has some fun with Congressmember Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez calling out billionaire Elon Musk for an anti-immigration post.

Responding to Musk’s post that Democrats want to “import voters,” the New York lawmaker responded as follows:

“You’re literally an immigrant,” Ocasio-Cortez wrote on X.  Born and raised in South Africa, Musk moved to Canada before migrating to the United States.

Musk’s caption accompanied a headline from The Daily Caller — a conservative media outlet — that read, “Biden Considering Granting Amnesty, Handing Out Green Cards to Illegal Immigrants.” The article cites stories reporting that the Biden administration might expand access to cancellation of removal, a form of from removal for undocumented immigrants who have lived in the country for more than ten years and satisfied other requirements.
