New Tennessee Immigration Enforcement Law

ABC News is reporting today that Governor Bill Lee of Tennessee has now signed a new law that mandates immigration enforcement by local law enforcement officers. The new law is scheduled to take effect July 1, 2024.

A Texas law, SB 4, which allows for arrest and prosecution of those who cross the border without permission has been blocked in court.
