Democrats Show Rightward Shift on Immigration at DNC

Newsweek and other news outlets are reporting on the pitch on immigration at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago “in an attempt to blunt Republican momentum on the topic that voters routinely say is among their top concerns . . . .”

Among the speakers in Chicago were New York Rep. Tom Suozzi, whose views on border enforcement helped him win a win a seat in Congress in Long Island this year. 

Expect more debate over immigration as the November elections near.
