Kudos to ImmigrationProf blogger Ingrid EaglyHere is the news from UCLA:

“UCLA School of Law professor Ingrid Eagly has been selected for the Fulbright-Schuman European Union Affairs Program, which provides opportunities for scholars to conduct research and engage in academic exchanges related to E.U. policies and institutions.

During her Fulbright, Eagly is based in Florence, Italy, at UNICEF-Innocenti, UNICEF’s Global Office of Research and Foresight. As the research arm for the United Nation’s Children Fund, UNICEF-Innocenti conducts essential research that supports UNICEF’s core mandate of ensuring that children’s rights are protected.

Eagly’s research project examines access to legal information and lawyers for children seeking asylum in the E.U., a topic of increasing importance with the rising number of migrant children arriving to Europe. Asylum is also an area that is undergoing significant change as E.U. member states work to implement the new E.U. Pact on Migration and Asylum.”

Congrats Professor Eagly!
