CNN reports that immigrant communities, fearing the incoming Trump administration’s threatened immigration enforcement efforts, immigrant rights attorneys, employers, and churches are considering various responses.  It remains to be seen how communities will seek to resist the incoming Trump administration’s immigration measures.  So far, it appears that the community is gearing up for assisting immigrants, as was the case in the responses to President Trump’s Muslim ban in his first administration.

What is clear is that fear of immigration enforcement is sweeping immigrant communities.   One must worry how these fears will affect the conduct of immigrants, such as going to work or the doctors, taking children to school, and simply living life.
