Undocumented migrants have no safety net for retirement. Many have no choice but to keep toiling

A thoughtful immigration reporter, Kate Linthicum for the Los Angeles Times reports on the obvious that many — myself included — simply did not think about:  many undocumented migrants have no safety net for retirement and have no choice but to keep toiling into the golden years.

As NPR reported last year, undocumented farmworkers may have no choice but to work into old age.
