Lawsuits Challenge Trump’s Effort to End Birthright Citizenship
Lawsuits have been filed targeting Trump’s executive order aiming to end birthright citizenship. “Denying citizenship to babies born on U.S. soil is illegal,” said Cody Wofsy, deputy director of the ACLU’s Immigrants’ Rights Project and lead attorney in this case. — ACLU. Suits have been brought in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Seattle.
