Repelling an Invasion? Trump’s immigration orders are a blueprint for sweeping policy changes

This NPR story raised interesting points about how, by characterizing undocumented immigr4ation as an “invasion,” President Trump has transformed the justification for immigration restrictions to ones of defending the nation in war and protecting national security.  We shall see how the courts address the new justification.  The President’s powers are at their zenith on matters of war and national security.
