Chief Justice Calls President Trump’s Call for Impeachment of Judge Uncalled For

President Trump’s removal of noncitizens from the country under the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 continues to receive judicial scrutiny.  Amy Howe for SCOTUSBlog reports that that Chief Justice John Roberts criticized a call by President Donald Trump for the impeachment of a federal trial judge who enjoined the U.S. government from removing noncitizens from the country without due process under an executive order.
