Columbia Disciplines Middle East Protesters

The removal case of Columbia protest leader Mahmoud Khalil has been in the news and produced a firestorm of controversy.  Khalil remains in immigrant detention in Louisiana after a federal court hearing yesterday.

The saga of the protests at Columbia continues.

News agencies (and here) report that Columbia has announced that students who occupied a campus building during pro-Palestinian protests last spring have been expelled, suspended for several years or had their degrees temporarily revoked.

President Trump has promised to deport more protesters.
