Trump issued two other EOs today.

Enforcing Commonsense Rules of the Road for America’s Truck Drivers doesn’t say anything directly about immigration. But it is about enforcing federal law to ensure that all truck drivers are proficient in English.

Strengthening and Unleashing America’s Law Enforcement to Pursue Criminals and Protect Innocent Citizens focuses on how to “unleash high-impact local police forces.” That said, provision 6 of the EO states: “The Attorney General and the Secretary of Homeland Security shall utilize the Homeland Security Task Forces (HSTFs) formed in accordance with Executive Order 14159 of January 20, 2025 (Protecting the American People Against Invasion) to coordinate and advance the objectives of this order.”
