Trump Interview on ABC — The Immigration Cut

President Trump sat down with ABC News’ Terry Moran to discuss his (second) first 100 days in office. Here is the segment on immigration:

A few highlights regarding the case of Kilmar Abrego Garcia–

TERRY MORAN: You could get him back. There’s a phone on this desk.

PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP: I could.

PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP: I’m not the one making this decision. We have lawyers that don’t want —

PRESIDENT DONALD TRUMP: Well, wait a minute. Wait a minute. He had MS-13 — … on his knuckles tattooed.

As to that last point — turns out there is a real photo of Kilmar’s knuckles with M S 1 3 on them, but those letters/numbers were just superimposed atop the photo. It’s “fake news” to quote the president. And yet he insisted on the accuracy of his false characterization of the photo.
