A Sign of the Times: “ICE arrested her selling tamales at Lowes. Then she suffered a heart attack. ‘I told them: I can’t breathe'”

The Trump administration claims to be targeting the “worst of the worst” criminals for immigration enforcement.  Data shows that a majority of those arrested are not criminals.  The story in the Los Angeles Times of this street vendor should make us all pause.  Her reaction as she had a heart attack during an immigration arrest:  “She said she looked up at the tree where she had a framed picture of the Virgin Mary and began to pray: `Virgin Mary, please help me, don’t abandon me. I don’t want to die.'”
