The Department of Homeland Security has announced that “U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem today announced U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) arrest of a known MS-13 gang member, human trafficker, wife beater, and child predator, Kilmar Abrego Garcia.
On August 25, ICE arrested Garcia—a criminal illegal alien from El Salvador—in Maryland. He is being processed for removal to Uganda.

After months of detention, including several months in El Salvador, Abrego Garcia was released last Friday and spent the weekend with his family in Maryland. It too Supreme Court intervention to bring Abrego Garcia back to the United States.

The Hill reports that a federal judge ruled that the Trump administration is “absolutely forbidden” from removing Kilmar Abrego Garcia from the United States, for now. U.S. District Judge Paula Xinis blocked Abrego Garcia’s deportation to Uganda until she can hold a hearing.
